This morning I read this article about banks and the money they received in the bail out and just fumed. Hours later I'm still mad about it. Does anyone else see this is as patently ridiculous or is it just me? I simply can't fathom the reaction of the banks - what do you mean you don't know where the money is? What do you mean you won't comment? Absolutely irresponsible.
Can you tell I'm a little mad about this situation?

Oh my GOODNESS, YES!!!!! I am so totally with you on this! I'm sorry, but if they begged for a "bail out," they should be required to report absolutely every penny and how it was allocated! They were fiscally irresponsible in the first place, and now you can see the trend continuing - and they'll be asking for more money. The worst thing is, they might actually get it! Grrrrr!!!!
Of course, they DO know where the money went (my opinion), they just won't TELL where the money went! But it does set up practice for 'others' to lay down and play dumb after receiving bail outs, too. It's going to be a vicious cycle.
