Used some for Mongolian Beef, some for Tacos de Carne Asada, and some for chili. It was extremely good in all 3 applications. Found a great recipe! I rolled portions of the beef in corn starch and then fried it. Instead of adding it to the street fried rice and veggies, I served the beef on top of the rice. Yummy! Great way to stretch a pound and a half of meat. My husband and I ate this for two nights. Just season meat with garlic salt, and Creole seasoning, adding in a chopped onion, and mix in mixed garlic. Let sit for 30 minutes. Cook meat (I do it on my griddle in batches) in a little butter. It is awesome!!!<br /><br />CHILI VERDE MEXICAN BEEF STEW <br /><br />In pressure cooker or large pan, brown:<br />2-3 Tablespoons oil<br />2 pounds lean beef stew mean (cut into 1-inch cubes)<br />2 Tablespoons flour<br />Cook until meat is browned.<br /><br />Add enough water to more than cover the meat <br />(I put almost half a pan of water). <br />Pressure meat for 20 minutes (or cook in saucepan <br />until meat is tender and falling apart.)<br /><br />Add:<br />1 can Ro-tel diced tomatoes & green chilies<br />1 large onion, chopped<br />3 garlic cloves, chopped<br />1 beef boullion cube<br />1 (4oz) can chopped green chilies<br />1 teasp. dried oregan<br />1/2 teaspoon ground cumin<br />Salt & pepper to taste<br />1 (15oz) can white hominy, drained<br />1 pound tomatillos, diced (about 4 cups)<br />2 jalapenos, seeded & chopped<br />2 bunches cilantro, chopped<br /><br />Cook until all ingredients are well done.
